The City of Coral Springs defines a short-term rental as any unit or group of units in a condominium or cooperative or any individually or collectively owned single-family, two-family, three-family, or four-family house or dwelling unit that is advertised and/or rented to transient occupants more than three times in a calendar year for periods of less than thirty days or one calendar month. In Florida a short-term vocational rental is a property that is fewer than 180 consecutive nights. A vacation rental license is required to operate in any capacity within the city limits.
